B2B Sales Officer

Position: B2B Sales Officer
Department: Sales
Location: Kozhikode
Reporting To: Executive director

Role Overview

The B2B Sales Officer is responsible for identifying, approaching, and acquiring business clients. The role focuses on building long-term relationships, generating revenue, and ensuring consistent growth through corporate sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential business clients through research, networking, and market analysis.
  • Generate qualified leads and build a strong B2B client pipeline.

2. Client Acquisition

  • Approach corporate clients and conduct product/service presentations.
  • Understand client needs, propose solutions, and convert leads into sales.

3. Relationship Management

  • Maintain long-term business relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Ensure regular follow-ups, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.

4. Sales Targets & Performance

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly B2B sales targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for management.

5. Proposal & Negotiation

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals profitably.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Suggest improvements in sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Willingness to travel across India

7. Coordination

  • Work closely with operations, finance, and support teams for smooth onboarding of clients.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services/products as per client expectations.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or corporate sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with corporate decision-makers.

Preferred

  • Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or service-based industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.

Salary Range

25k to 35k + Attractive incentives

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kozhikode, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • sales: 2 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Required)
