Eagle Travels is a Gujaratโ€‘based transport and logistics company with decades of experience in intercity buses, staff transportation and cargo/logistics solutions across western India. Eagle Cargo focuses on B2B and B2C parcel and cargo movements on highโ€‘density routes between Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and beyond.


๐ŸŽฏ Role overview

Eagle is hiring a B2B Sales & Business Development Manager to grow the cargo vertical by acquiring and managing corporate and SME customers for road cargo and parcel services. The role combines hunting for new business and farming existing accounts to maximize volume, load factor and profitability on Eagleโ€™s network.โ€‹


๐Ÿ“Œ Key responsibilities

  • ๐Ÿš€ Acquire new B2B customers (manufacturers, traders, distributors, logistics aggregators, eโ€‘commerce sellers, etc.) for cargo and parcel movements on Eagle routes.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿ“ž Build a strong sales pipeline through cold calls, field visits, LinkedIn networking and local market contacts in industrial and transport hubs in and around Ahmedabad.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿงฉ Understand customer requirements (lanes, volumes, service level, pricing) and design suitable cargo solutions using Eagleโ€™s buses, trucks and partner capacity (FTL/LTL, express, scheduled services).โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿค Prepare, present and negotiate rate contracts, proposals and SLAs to close profitable, longโ€‘term business.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Coordinate with operations, depots and drivers to ensure onโ€‘time dispatch, proper documentation and fast issue resolution for all shipments.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Track and report sales performance (laneโ€‘wise, clientโ€‘wise), ensuring targets for revenue, tonnage and load factor are achieved or exceeded.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿ” Develop key accounts through regular reviews, upselling additional lanes and services, and improving customer retention.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿ’ณ Ensure timely collections, support finance in resolving billing disputes, and maintain accurate CRM/sales records.โ€‹

โœ… Requirements

  • ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ผ 3โ€“7 years of B2B sales experience in cargo, road transport, courier/express, 3PL or related logistics sectors.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Proven track record of acquiring and growing B2B accounts, preferably in Ahmedabad and western India lanes (Gujaratโ€“Maharashtraโ€“Rajasthan).โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿค Strong negotiation and relationshipโ€‘building skills with transport managers, purchase and logistics heads.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿšš Good understanding of domestic road logistics (routes, transit times, volumetric weight basics, LR, eโ€‘way bill awareness, packaging norms).โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿงญ Comfortable working in the field with frequent local travel; high ownership, discipline and followโ€‘up.โ€‹
  • ๐Ÿงฎ Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic CRM usage; clear communication in Hindi and English (Gujarati is a strong plus).โ€‹

๐Ÿ’ฐ Compensation & benefits

  • ๐Ÿ’ต Fixed salary:ย Rs. 30,000 per month.
  • โ›ฝ Allowances:ย Travel / petrol allowance for field visitsย as per company policy.
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Performanceโ€‘linked incentives based on sales targets and collections.โ€‹
  • ๐ŸŒฑ Opportunity to build and scale the Eagle Cargo vertical on an established transport network, with direct visibility to the promoters.
