Eagle Cargo focuses on B2B and B2C parcel and cargo movements on high‑density routes between Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and beyond.

🎯 Role overview

Eagle is hiring a B2B Sales & Business Development Manager to grow the cargo vertical by acquiring and managing corporate and SME customers for road cargo and parcel services. The role combines hunting for new business and farming existing accounts to maximize volume, load factor and profitability on Eagle’s network.​

📌 Key responsibilities

• 🚀 Acquire new B2B customers (manufacturers, traders, distributors, logistics aggregators, e‑commerce sellers, etc.) for cargo and parcel movements on Eagle routes.​
• 📞 Build a strong sales pipeline through cold calls, field visits, LinkedIn networking and local market contacts in industrial and transport hubs in and around Ahmedabad.​
• 🧩 Understand customer requirements (lanes, volumes, service level, pricing) and design suitable cargo solutions using Eagle’s buses, trucks and partner capacity (FTL/LTL, express, scheduled services).​
• 🤝 Prepare, present and negotiate rate contracts, proposals and SLAs to close profitable, long‑term business.​
• 📦 Coordinate with operations, depots and drivers to ensure on‑time dispatch, proper documentation and fast issue resolution for all shipments.​
• 📊 Track and report sales performance (lane‑wise, client‑wise), ensuring targets for revenue, tonnage and load factor are achieved or exceeded.​
• 🔁 Develop key accounts through regular reviews, upselling additional lanes and services, and improving customer retention.​
• 💳 Ensure timely collections, support finance in resolving billing disputes, and maintain accurate CRM/sales records.​

✅ Requirements

• 🧑‍💼 3–7 years of B2B sales experience in cargo, road transport, courier/express, 3PL or related logistics sectors.​
• 📈 Proven track record of acquiring and growing B2B accounts, preferably in Ahmedabad and western India lanes (Gujarat–Maharashtra–Rajasthan).​
• 🤝 Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills with transport managers, purchase and logistics heads.​
• 🚚 Good understanding of domestic road logistics (routes, transit times, volumetric weight basics, LR, e‑way bill awareness, packaging norms).​
• 🧭 Comfortable working in the field with frequent local travel; high ownership, discipline and follow‑up.​
• 🧮 Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic CRM usage; clear communication in Hindi and English (Gujarati is a strong plus).​

💰 Compensation & benefits

• 💵 Fixed salary: Rs. 30,000 per month.
• ⛽ Allowances: Travel / petrol allowance for field visits as per company policy.
