Role Overview

Ayurveda Therapist



Key Responsibilities


  • Therapy delivery and client care
  • Perform authentic Ayurvedic treatments such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Kizhi, Udvartana, Potli massage, Nasya, and other prescribed therapies.
  • Conduct pre-therapy checks and understand client concerns, dosha-related imbalances, and therapy readiness.
  • Provide personalised therapy sessions aligned with the doctor’s recommendations and client wellness goals.
  • Maintain exceptional client comfort, privacy, and hospitality throughout sessions.
  • Guide clients on basic daily rituals, self-care practices, and post-therapy instructions as applicable.


Coordination & Integration

  • Work closely with Ayurveda doctors, Naturopathy practitioners, Physiotherapists, and Modern Science teams to deliver integrated wellness experiences.
  • Support the team in implementing holistic wellness protocols and client journeys.
  • Participate in client orientation, wellness routines, and engagement activities when required.


Operations & Hygiene

  • Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and herbs/oils as per SOPs and safety standards.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and proper setup of therapy stations before and after every session.
  • Ensure proper storage, usage, and inventory tracking of Ayurvedic oils, herbs, and consumables.
  • Adhere to all operational protocols, documentation, and reporting systems.


Client Experience

  • Build warm, professional rapport with clients and help them feel supported throughout their wellness journey.
  • Address client concerns with empathy and escalate medical or safety issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Represent The Wellness Co. as a wellness ambassador at Pyramid Valley.


Requirements

  • Certified Ayurveda Therapist from a recognised institute.
  • 5–10 years of experience

    delivering Ayurvedic therapies in a wellness centre, Ayurveda clinic, spa, or integrative wellness setting.
  • Strong knowledge of classical therapies, dosha-based treatments, and Ayurvedic oils/herbs.
  • Excellent client communication, hospitality, and professional presentation.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, treatment protocols, and integrated wellness plans.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing long-duration therapies.
