Job Description

Industry & Sector:

Recruitment & HR services partnering with enterprise clients across Cloud Data Engineering, Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics. We are hiring for a client that builds and migrates on-premises BI/ETL workloads to AWS to deliver scalable, production-grade reporting and analytics.

Role:

AWS Data Engineer (SSIS / SSRS) — On-site, IndiaRole & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and AWS-native services to ingest, transform and load data into analytics stores (Redshift/data lake).
Migrate, refactor and operationalise on-premises SSIS packages and SSRS reports to AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3) while preserving reporting accuracy and SLAs.
Author and optimise SSRS reports and T-SQL queries for performance, scalability and low-latency delivery to business consumers.
Implement data orchestration, scheduling and monitoring (job retries, alerting, logging) to ensure pipeline reliability and data quality.
Collaborate with BI analysts, DBAs and cloud engineers to define data models, partitioning strategies and ETL best practices.
Drive production readiness: performance tuning, capacity planning, documentation and handover to support teams.
