Data Engineer – Enterprise Content Management (OpenText Content Server)

Data Engineer – Enterprise Content Management

with strong hands-on expertise in

OpenText Content Server

. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end support, solution development, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Content Server ecosystem. This role involves

L2/L3 incident support, workflow/report development, system monitoring, integration, and compliance management

.Key Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end support for OpenText Content Server, including workflows, live reports, web reports, scan profiles, and OCC profiles.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain Content Server configurations for availability and stability.
Collaborate with project teams to design and develop new solutions in Content Server.
Provide L2 and L3 end-user support, including incident resolution and problem management.
Develop and maintain web reports, live reports, workflows, workspaces, categories, and appearances.
Perform daily monitoring, Windows patch maintenance, enhancements, and service restarts.
Support change management processes and conduct end-user training.
Apply security fixes, manage quality assurance certifications, and support compliance (legal, TCC, data privacy).
Execute IT drill exercises (disaster recovery, HA, tabletop exercises).
Support and enhance SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, stored procedures, and views for Content Server data.
Optimize Content Server-related SQL statements to improve query/report performance.
Support and maintain .NET-based custom applications integrating third-party apps with Content Server.
Support REST API/SOAP integrations with Content Server.
Manage SSL certificate renewals, user password renewals, and OCC profiles.
Support bulk import/export tools (Object Importer/Exporter).
Provide support for OpenText Extended ECM for SAP module.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

Strong hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server.
Proven expertise in workflows, reports, SQL optimization, and integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and L2/L3 support experience.

Good to Have (Optional)

Experience with OpenText Extended ECM for SAP.
Familiarity with .NET applications and SSRS reporting.
Knowledge of compliance standards (security, data privacy).
