AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in support of high-availability applications. This role requires deep expertise in Amazon Web Services, automation, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Amazon EKS or ECS
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party monitoring tools
• Implement best practices for cloud security, IAM, networking, and cost optimization
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve system reliability and reduce manual effort
• Collaborate closely with software engineering, QA, and security teams throughout the SDLC
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support rotations as needed
• Document infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS/ECS)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud cost management

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
• Familiarity with logging and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience supporting highly available, production-grade systems
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.)
