Software Engineer Trainee | Intern

Job Summary

The Software Engineer Intern will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications under the guidance of senior engineers. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world software development practices, exposure to modern technologies, and the opportunity to contribute to production-level code in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing software features and enhancements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot software defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers
• Support the maintenance and improvement of existing applications
• Contribute to technical documentation as needed
• Follow established coding standards, development processes, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and data structures
• Proficiency in at least Two programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Angular, react , JavaScript)
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web or mobile development frameworks
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Gitlab, Github)
• Exposure to software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Previous coursework, projects, or internships related to software development

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
