AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at BMW Group, you will work with a diverse team responsible for implementing and operating the cloud infrastructure platforms supporting BMW Group on AWS. Your role involves collaborating closely with software developers, platform engineers, cloud architects, and other project associates to manage infrastructure effectively, ensuring high availability of IT services while maintaining security and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist teams in resolving issues on the cloud platform such as system failures, performance issues, and network configurations. - Participate in deploying and maintaining cloud platforms to ensure system stability and security. - Optimize operations of cloud platforms covering markets in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. - Implement and enforce IT security standards. - Provide efficient technical support for timely issue resolution and client query handling. - Collaborate with other IT teams, understanding their needs, and providing solutions. - Create and maintain technical documentation for common issues and solutions. - Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and drive improvements. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Work in the CET timezone. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in AWS public cloud infrastructure and operations. - Sound knowledge of cloud architecture and well-architected framework. - Familiarity with Disaster Recovery (DR) Strategy. - Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Containerization, and Operational Observability. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools like Terraform, Helm, CDK. - Experience with CI/CD toolchain including GitHub and GitHub Actions. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence. **Additional Company Details:** You can visit our website bmwtechworks.in to learn more about our organization.
