This includes identifying and resolving issues, designing and implementing cloud migrations with minimal downtime, and using AI/ML-powered workflows to automate significant portions of your work. What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and executing complex infrastructure transitions, including migrations from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift-and-shift migrations
• Creating and deploying monitoring strategies and developing automations for monitoring, software releases, and operational processes
• Conducting system monitoring, system backups, incident management, database migrations, database configurations, and cost optimization

AWS Architect Key Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and consistency of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio by deploying comprehensive monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
  

Basic Requirements

• Extensive AWS infrastructure expertise (this is our core platform - experience with other cloud providers alone is insufficient)
• Proven ability scripting with Python and Bash for routine administration operations
• Demonstrated experience managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Linux systems administration expertise

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
