Role Summary

We’re looking for an AVP – Business Strategy and Operations for our Sales vertical. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the business, including revenue, customer engagement, and retention. This is a leadership role where you’ll define strategy, drive execution, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the P&L (profit and loss) for your vertical and deliver growth.
  • Define go-to-market strategy, customer segments, and value propositions.
  • Create quarterly and annual business plans aligned with company goals.
  • Work with Product & Marketing to shape pricing, packaging, and positioning.

Sales & Expansion

Drive end-to-end sales: outbound targeting
  • closure.
  • Set and achieve sales targets; grow pipeline and improve conversion rates.
  • Work with Sales Enablement on onboarding, training, and sales tools.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

Customer Engagement & Retention

  • Lead Customer Success and Account Management teams.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and long-term value delivery.
  • Build strong executive-level client relationships to drive renewals and expansion.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a team of Sales Managers, CSMs, Renewal Managers, and Analysts.
  • Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability.
  • Partner with Product & Tech teams to share customer needs and close gaps.

Process & Metrics

  • Own weekly reviews on sales, success, and renewals across the vertical.
  • Set up dashboards and reports to track business KPIs and customer health.
  • Use data to run experiments, improve ROI, and inform strategic shifts.

What We’re Looking For?

  • 6 - 10 years of experience in business strategy, P&L ownership, or sales leadership.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams (Sales, CS, Renewals).
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise sales is strongly preferred.
  • Data-driven mindset; strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
