About the Role The Associate Director, Strategic Planning & Execution, is responsible for managing the Online Customer Profile (OCP’s) risk profile and business controls for WCP. This includes non-financial risk identification, assessing controls, managing compliance with obligations, event management, business risk forum reporting, facilitation of audit preparation, project review, governance and stakeholder management. As well as proactively partner and provide support to continuously de-risk and ensure WCP is a well-managed business. Effectively monitor, manage, and support the existing credit management platform OCP’s non-financial risk profile Ensure appropriate escalation and approval of risks, and support the business to develop mitigation and event remediation strategies Work closely with Business Governance and Controls (BG&C) and Divisional Risk team Monitor and manage Risk events to closure and articulate lessons learned Support relevant risk management forums and prepare papers and associated content Support development and implementation of relevant processes for (i) risk assessment, treatment, monitoring and reporting, (ii) audit issue tracking (iii) events and risk register tracking Support effective implementation of non-financial risk initiatives within SP&E and WCP Proactively collaborate with relevant teams to identify, develop and embed processes to improve SP&E and WCP’s risk profiles and practices What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Relevant experience in non-financial risk including knowledge in risk strategy, policies, processes and standards and external regulatory requirements and proficiency in identifying risks, impacts, root cause and possible solutions or actions Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and able to build effective working relationships, and execute tasks in a timely manner Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to leverage data Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner, and maintain confidentiality where required Able to use initiative by proactively acting and being persistent in addressing issues Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
