Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and analysis for CMS and aviation workflows such as crew scheduling, flight operations, and safety
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions for crew operations
  • Prepare and maintain BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile methodologies
  • Ensure requirements traceability and compliance with aviation regulatory standards (FAA / EASA)
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery teams to ensure scope clarity and solution alignment
  • Manage change requests and perform detailed impact analysis
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and validation of deliverables against requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior BAs; enforce documentation and analysis standards across CMS modules

Mandatory Skills

✔ Core Business Analysis Skills

  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and process modeling
  • Expertise in BRD / FSD documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Azure DevOps (ADO)

✔ Aviation Domain Expertise

  • Deep understanding of aviation operations: Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations, Safety
  • Hands-on experience with Crew Management Systems (CMS)
  • Strong knowledge of airline regulations, crew legality rules, and compliance standards (FAA / EASA)

✔ Technical Awareness

  • Basic understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API integrations
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and enterprise data models

✔ Leadership & Behavioral Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead BA teams and enforce standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Certifications

  • CBAP or PMI-PBA
  • SAFe® Agilist
  • Airline / Aviation domain certifications (IATA or equivalent)

Performance Indicators

  • Accuracy and completeness of requirements documentation
  • Reduction in change requests and scope creep
  • High stakeholder satisfaction and UAT success rate
