Job Description

Who knows where our shared journey will take you?We are looking for candidate with IT QA/testing experience, with exposure to software development and hands-on testing in Java and Python environments; prior leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

What are my Responsibilities:

Lead QA/test activities across product features and sprints, defining test strategy, plans, and risk-based testing approaches
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in Java and Python (e.g., API Testing with Java; PyTest, unittest)
Build and maintain robust automated test frameworks; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI)
Conduct API testing for RESTful services using Java-based tools (REST Assured) or Python (requests) and validate contracts/schemas
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing as required; contribute to non-functional testing strategies
Manage defect lifecycle: reproduction steps, priority assignment, and follow-up with development teams, project stakeholders; verify fixes
Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases; maintain test data management and test environment configurations
Generate and present test metrics (pass/fail rates, defect density, test coverage) to project stakeholders; provide status updates

What qualifies me for this job?

4 + Years as SDET.
Capability and willingness to translate customer requirements into software solutions and thoroughly test them using an automated and manual approach
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken
Hands-on test automation (API Testing, CI/CD, REST and AWS Cloud)
Strong learning orientation and self-motivation
Proactivity: share knowledge, voice problems, and ask for help when needed
Passion for Test Automation, Java and Python, technology, and problem solving
Leadership potential: ability to mentor teammates, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive testing initiatives.
