Automation Test Lead (Java & Python) -4+ Years

We are looking for candidate with IT QA/testing experience, with exposure to software development and hands-on testing in Java and Python environments prior leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

What are my Responsibilities:

oLead QA/test activities across product features and sprints, defining test strategy, plans, and risk-based testing approaches

oDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites in Java and Python (e.g., API Testing with Java PyTest, unittest)

oBuild and maintain robust automated test frameworks integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI)

oConduct API testing for RESTful services using Java-based tools (REST Assured) or Python (requests) and validate contracts/schemas

oPerform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing as required contribute to non-functional testing strategies

oManage defect lifecycle: reproduction steps, priority assignment, and follow-up with development teams, project stakeholders verify fixes

oEnsure traceability from requirements to test cases maintain test data management and test environment configurations

oGenerate and present test metrics (pass/fail rates, defect density, test coverage) to project stakeholders provide status updates

o 4 + Years as SDET.

oCapability and willingness to translate customer requirements into software solutions and thoroughly test them using an automated and manual approach

oAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken

oHands-on test automation (API Testing, CI/CD, REST and AWS Cloud)

oStrong learning orientation and self-motivation

oProactivity: share knowledge, voice problems, and ask for help when needed

oPassion for Test Automation, Java and Python, technology, and problem solving

oLeadership potential: ability to mentor teammates, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive testing initiatives.
