Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, OEMs, system integrators, and industrial segments.
  • Promote and sell automation products such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, servo drives, VFDs, sensors, robotics, motion control, and industrial communication solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and solution-based discussions with customers.
  • Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and sales pitches.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and support business expansion.

Technical Support & Application Expertise

  • Understand customer applications, production challenges, and system requirements to recommend suitable automation solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, product selection guidance, and application advice.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for solution design, system configuration, and customization when required.
  • Support customers during installation, testing, and after-sales troubleshooting.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and site visits to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely responses to technical inquiries, tenders, and project opportunities.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in automation.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, product gaps, and market demands.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the sales, engineering, logistics, and product management teams to ensure smooth order handling and project execution.
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.

QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, electrical equipment, or technical sales.
  • Hands-on knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives, servo systems, or industrial networking is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with major automation brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, ABB, etc., is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of automation and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with solution-selling capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAD or programming tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
