Job Title: UI Automation Lead Primary skills: Selenium & C# Location: Hyderabad/Pune/Coimbatore Mode of work: 4+1 Experience: 6-8 Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Selenium C# Lead with a strong background in quality engineering and test automation within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. This role will focus on designing and implementing robust API automation frameworks, leading a team of automation engineers, and driving quality initiatives across insurance product lines and platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and execution of scalable API automation frameworks for REST and SOAP services across our insurance platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into automated test solutions. Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of APIs. Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the build process using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Mentor junior automation engineers and serve as a technical SME for API testing strategy and practices. Monitor test results, analyze defects, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage, efficiency, and stability. Ensure adherence to QA best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance specific to the P&C insurance industry. Drive automation coverage across new and legacy systems including policy administration, claims, billing, and underwriting APIs. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in QA/testing with at least 4+ years in API automation testing. Proven experience with tools such as Postman, RestSharp, Karate, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI.Strong exp in ISO , Rate testing, Commercial Auto LOB Strong programming/scripting skills in C#. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration. Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON/XML data formats, and API contract testing. Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. Prior experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry is required, with an understanding of key business processes and terminology. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of policy administration systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco). Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and microservices-based architecture. ISTQB or similar QA certification.
