Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement systems to automate various processes, improving efficiency and quality in production or business operations. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, production, and product development, to identify opportunities for automation, design workflows, and troubleshoot system issues. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in automation tools, scripting, and possess a solid understanding of manufacturing or operations.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Design and Development: Develop and implement automation systems to optimize workflows and production processes.
• Programming and Scripting: Write and modify scripts using programming languages & programming tools to automate processes.
• System Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing to ensure automated systems function as intended. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the testing phase.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of automation systems to ensure continuous operation. Provide ongoing support, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of all automation processes, workflows, and configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of automation initiatives.
• Compliance: Ensure that all automation systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in safety, quality, and data security.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in automation engineering or a related role, preferably

in manufacturing automation.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in automation tools
• Experience with PLCs, HMI, VFD, SCADA, Servo systems & others.
• Familiarity with control systems, data acquisition, and testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
