Audio Visual (AV) Installation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on AV Installation Engineer to join our fast-growing AV team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in installing, testing, and commissioning Audio Visual systems such as video walls, AV-over-IP setups, DSPs, and Crestron/Extron/AMX control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV hardware: displays, video walls, projectors, interactive panels, speakers, microphones, DSPs
• Set up and program AV control systems: Crestron, Extron, AMX
• Integrate video conferencing systems with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex
• Perform professional cable pulling, termination, labeling, and rack dressing
• Read and execute from AV layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Conduct system testing, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Collaborate with technicians and project managers to ensure quality and timeline compliance
• Maintain project documentation: configuration files, test reports, and system manuals
• Deliver client demos, basic user training, and system handovers
• Follow site safety protocols and ensure compliance with local standards

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in Audio Visual system installation
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow, AV-over-IP, and control system integration
• Ability to interpret and execute technical drawings and schematics
• Skilled with AV installation tools and testing equipment
• Basic knowledge of networking for AV integration (IP addressing, VLANs, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and client-handling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications: CTS, Crestron Certified, Extron, or AMX Programmer
• Previous experience in UAE or GCC AV projects preferred
• UAE Driving License is a plus
