As an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire manufacturing process in the nutraceuticals production facility in the Powder section. With 8 to 15 years of hands-on experience in nutraceutical or food supplement production, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of GMP, FSSAI regulatory compliance, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Production Planning & Execution: - Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts. - Monitor daily production activities to ensure targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines. - Process Optimization: - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs. - Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - People Management: - Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance and compliance. - Maintain discipline, safety, and morale among team members. - Quality Assurance & Compliance: - Ensure adherence to cGMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and other regulatory standards. - Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to maintain product quality. - Inventory & Resource Management: - Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams for timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials. - Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment and machinery. - Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain accurate production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and SOPs. - Prepare regular reports on production efficiency, downtime, and other key metrics. Key Requirements: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. - 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in the nutraceutical or food supplement industry. - Strong understanding of GMP, FSSAI, USFDA, EFSA, or other regulatory standards. - Hands-on experience in tablet, capsule, powder, liquid, or softgel formulations is preferred. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. - Exposure to international audits (USFDA, WHO-GMP, etc.) In addition to the above details, the company offers health insurance and provident fund benefits.
