Manager - Asst. Talent Acquisition (Technical Hiring) - Large MNC

Location - Pune / Hyderabad

Role Overview:

This role requires a strategic and results-driven people manager to lead technical hiring initiatives across engineering, technology, and leadership roles. The manager will oversee a large recruitment team and own the end-to-end talent acquisition process to fulfill high-volume lateral and leadership hiring needs, ensuring alignment with business goals and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for technical and leadership roles, focusing on lateral hiring and senior leadership placements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of recruiters, overseeing recruitment processes and team performance.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and HR partners to understand hiring needs, build robust hiring plans, and ensure timely delivery of candidates.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Drive proactive sourcing through multiple channels including direct sourcing, networking, and external agencies to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience and maintain employer brand standards throughout the hiring process.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and process efficiency to continuously improve hiring outcomes and team productivity.
  • Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment activities.
  • Stay updated on technology hiring trends, market conditions, and talent availability across multiple locations.
  • Implement scalable talent acquisition models to support large-scale hiring initiatives in global delivery centers or technology-focused organizations.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal policies, legal, and regulatory requirements in recruitment.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale technical and leadership hiring programs, including lateral recruitment.
  • Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the technical talent market and sourcing strategies in India.
  • Proficiency with recruitment technologies including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to use data for decision-making and process optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Experience & Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent post-graduation in Human Resources or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition with at least 4 years in people management and large-scale hiring.
  • Experience handling recruitment across multiple locations and managing distributed teams.
  • Prior experience in hiring for technology roles and leadership positions within professional services, consulting, or tech industries.
