Job Description

We are seeking a

Director Banking Vertical

to lead

Learning, Quality, and Business Insights

initiatives, driving

client success, operational excellence, and innovation

. This role will be responsible for designing strategic learning solutions, implementing

continuous improvement frameworks

, and driving

business insights

to enhance client retention, revenue growth, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:


Insights & Innovation



  • Develop and execute an

    Outside-In model

    to generate

    client-specific business insights

    , improving client retention, issue resolution, and revenue generation.

  • Implement a

    quarterly review cadence

    with the vertical/account team to align with evolving customer expectations.

  • Build

    Global Capability for the Banking Vertical

    , offering leadership in best practices, research, process standardization, and staff development.

  • Stay updated on

    emerging trends, innovations, and technologies

    in

    Learning, Customer Experience, and Interaction Analytics

    .

  • Support business development by creating

    Quality and Learning-as-a-Service

    models for key banking clients.


Delivery & Operational Excellence



  • Lead and implement

    Continuous Improvement (CI) Frameworks

    across all programs.

  • Develop and implement

    best-in-class learning and training solutions

    for current and future clients.

  • Own

    learning delivery KPIs

    , including

    new hire performance, learner NPS, and throughput metrics

    .

  • Improve

    customer satisfaction, quality, and sales KPIs

    , achieving a

    50% reduction in defect types

    .

  • Drive a

    10% increase in share of wallet

    for top 10 accounts by reducing customer effort and touchpoints.

  • Manage

    geo-specific budgets

    , achieving

    15% efficiency improvements

    through productivity enhancements and cost savings.

  • Represent Learning and Quality functions in

    internal and external forums

    .


Leadership & Development



  • Ensure that all leaders within the function understand the

    vision, transformation priorities, and deliverables

    .

  • Mentor, coach, and develop

    teams in a global, matrixed environment, fostering strong relationships across the organization.

  • Develop

    future-ready leaders

    by identifying skill gaps and collaborating with capability development teams to enhance talent development.


Qualifications & Skills:



  • 15+ years of experience

    in

    Learning, Training, Quality, or Banking operations

    .

  • Strong

    data-driven decision-making

    and ability to track and report metrics across the vertical and client accounts.

  • Experience in

    budget management and cost optimization

    .

  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication skills

    for stakeholder engagement.

  • Proven ability to

    lead teams in a matrixed, global environment

    .

  • Expertise in

    innovative learning solutions

    , focusing on

    continuous upskilling, reskilling, talent retention, and employee engagement

    .
