Job Description

Associate Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities.
Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies.
Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and frameworks.
Contribute to continuous improvement in coding standards, development processes, and team practices.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong foundation in programming languages (Java, Python, C++, or similar).
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with web development frameworks, databases, and APIs.
Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub/Bitbucket).
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work in a collaborative environment.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of software development experience (internships/projects count).
Exposure to Agile development practices is a plus.
Passion for technology, coding, and continuous learning.
