Role Overview: As an Associate in the Private Equity and Real Estate Services Fund Administration team, you will be responsible for administering private equity funds and other alternative investment vehicles. Your tasks will include preparing and reviewing financial statements, providing support for investor relations activities, bookkeeping, reconciliation, fee calculation, financial statement and investor report preparation, and process improvements. Additionally, you will assign and manage work, conduct detailed reviews, offer guidance and training, coordinate with stakeholders, and support the audit process. Key Responsibilities: - Provide directions and review journal entries booked into Investran. - Prepare and review fund level financial statements. - Comprehend fund agreements for reporting purposes. - Lead special projects for internal and external clients. - Maintain client relationships. - Support the audit process. - Develop team members. - Monitor and evaluate processes and technology for efficiency improvements. - Collaborate with internal functional groups. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, ICWA, CA, MBA, or CPA. - Have a minimum of 7 years of accounting experience in private equity or hedge fund accounting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. - Possess attention to detail, innovative and analytical thinking skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines consistently, and handle multiple tasks. - Organized, motivated, open to exploring new process enhancements. - People management and relationship building skills.
