Job Role:

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Service Specialist to join our Accounting Service Management team working the UK shift. This role focuses on ensuring the accurate application of accounting methodologies during client onboarding, new instrument setup, and ongoing service delivery. You will be a key point of contact for internal teams and clients, driving operational efficiency while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct accounting methodology information is provided and applied during:
    • Client onboarding and restructuring of existing mandates.
    • New instrument setup processes within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • This includes configuration of Aladdin, VRS, and Performance architecture.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to support RFP (Request for Proposal) requests.
  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of client accounting records with third parties as required.
  • Resolve queries received from internal teams efficiently and within agreed timelines.
  • Implement and maintain business controls, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Escalate any issues falling outside agreed service standards to the Team Leader promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, suppliers, and other client teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless accounting services.
  • Use initiative to develop constructive solutions for escalated or complex issues.
