Associate Director - Recovery Operations

Job Description

Role Overview The AD - Recovery Operations is responsible for end-to-end execution and oversight of EMI collections , asset recovery , and driver intervention cases including non-ops , impounded , and stolen battery scenarios within a specific zone. This role also leads address verification efforts to improve driver traceability, enhance proactive recovery, and reduce asset loss risk. The ROM will manage city-level teams, coordinate with law enforcement when required, and work closely with internal strategy and calling teams to meet operational KPIs. Key Responsibilities : 1. EMI Collections & Asset Recovery Collect EMIs as well as Lead recovery efforts for EMI defaulters in the driver segment. Monitor and close asset recovery cases involving non-ops drivers in coordination with Recovery Field Executives (RFEs). 2. Impounding and Stolen Cases Management Liaise with local police stations and financiers to recover impounded batteries. Coordinate FIR filing, insurance intimation , and asset tracking for stolen battery cases. 3. Driver Address Verification & Traceability Deploy field teams to verify addresses of flagged or new drivers. Maintain a system for geo-tagged address confirmation to enhance traceability and enable future interventions. 4. Team Leadership & Execution Manage and mentor city-level RFE teams. Ensure optimal RFE allocation, productivity, and safety in field operations. 5. Collaboration with Central Teams Work with the Excellence team to get insights on recovery hotspots, risk cohorts, and optimized field routing. Coordinate with the Calling Team for pre-verification, soft recovery, and lead support Qualifications: Graduate in Business or Operations Min. 8 years of experience in recovery, collections, or operations, ideally with field team leadership Ability to influence and negotiate with drivers and external agencies High data orientation with strong executional bias Excellent leadership, people management, and conflict resolution abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English Show more Show less
