Role Description

Seeking an experienced BI Developer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing Business Intelligence solutions leveraging SQL Server, Salesforce, GCP, PostgreSQL, Power BI, and Tableau. The ideal candidate will have strong data modeling skills, advanced database programming experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize BI applications and solutions using SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud platforms such as GCP.
Design and implement data models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact, and Dimension tables to support robust analytics.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
Communicate and collaborate with C-suite executives and stakeholders to ensure BI solutions meet business needs.
Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, views, and indexes.
Design and develop SSAS OLAP cubes and create complex DAX measures for interactive dashboards and reports.
Utilize tools like Tabular Editor and DAX Studio to enhance and troubleshoot data models.
Implement incremental data refresh, row-level security (RLS), parameterization, dataflows, and data gateways to ensure secure and efficient data delivery.
Build and optimize reports using SSRS and Power BI, employing mixed and direct query modes to improve performance.

Required Skills

Extensive experience with SQL Server, T-SQL programming, and database design principles.
Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques including dimensional and relational models.
Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for report development and dashboarding.
Expertise in SSAS (Multidimensional and Tabular models) and writing complex DAX expressions.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Salesforce integration.
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and SSRS.
Ability to write and optimize stored procedures, functions, triggers, and queries for complex business logic.
Experience with data security implementation, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and parameterized data access.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with executives and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
10+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development and data engineering.
Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable BI solutions in enterprise environments.
Certifications in Microsoft BI technologies, Power BI, or relevant cloud platforms are a plus.
