Job Description: Agent Making / Agency Development Role Company: Axis Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Channel: Agency Channel Designation: Agency Development Manager / Business Development Manager / Unit Manager Location - Jaipur Role Objective: To recruit, train, and develop a team of Life Insurance Agents (Advisors) who will generate business for Max Life Insurance. The primary goal is to build a productive agency force and achieve sales and revenue targets through your team of agents. Key Responsibilities: 1. Agent Recruitment & Activation Identify and recruit quality individuals as Insurance Agents / Advisors. Conduct interviews and onboarding sessions for new advisors. Ensure minimum activation and licensing as per IRDAI norms. 2. Training & Development Provide training on Max Life Insurance products, sales techniques, and processes. Coach advisors on prospecting, lead generation, and customer handling. Conduct regular skill-building and motivational sessions to improve productivity. 3. Business Generation Achieve sales targets through advisors (Life Insurance policies, premiums). Help agents generate leads, meet customers, and close sales. Track and monitor agent performance using internal systems. 4. Retention & Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with existing agents. Motivate and support agents to improve performance and persistency. Manage attrition and ensure consistent business flow from the agency team. 5. Compliance & Process Adherence Ensure all agents adhere to company policies and IRDAI regulations. Handle documentation, KYC, and licensing requirements accurately. Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and motivational ability. Sales & target orientation. Good knowledge of insurance/financial products. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools). Qualifications: Minimum Graduate (any stream). 1–5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, or insurance preferred. Experience in life insurance, banking, or direct sales is an advantage. Compensation: Fixed salary + Attractive performance-based incentives. *Additional Allowance - 5000 per month ( apart from salary )* Additional rewards and recognition programs for top performers.
