Job Title: Associate Account Manager

Job Type: Full time (Night shift 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST)

Job Location: Chennai

Account Manager,

Key Responsibilities:

Build:

  • Build relationships and establish credibility through remote meetings with New Clients and internal team such as Sales, Account Management and Operations
  • Build and promote customer engagement in our Silq app, through

    daily

    check-ins with customers.
  • Build a culture rooted in delivering customer love, you win when they win! 

Execute:

  • Work with internal teams to ensure client experience in the app meets and exceeds expectations by ensuring projects are set up correctly in the system.
  • Daily Project/Shipment health checks to ensure all projects are on track and up to date. It will be (Logistics coordinators) role to ensure all project accuracy and to reach out to responsible internal teams and external partners on any required updates.
  • Learn the Silq system in order to build all projects for customers and requote projects as needed.
  • Identify customer challenges; develop and implement solutions to create opportunities
  • Identifying innovative ways, unique to each customer that demonstrate the value of Silq by delivering stellar customer service and their in-app experience.

Partner:

  • Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers, Product and Engineering, Gateway Managers and SMM teams to overcome any blockers with regards to the shipment or anything that affects the user's experience in the app.
  • Strategize with team members to innovate; improve the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with customers, front-line management, and various Silq departments.

You should apply if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of International Freight Forwarding, working knowledge of US and China routes would be an advantage
  • The desire to work with a high energy team who strive to learn and develop their operations & customer relationship skills
  • A solution oriented mindset, looking to work in a quickly adapting tech environment
  • Prior start-up client relationship and/or sales experience a plus
  • Ability to resolve difficult and/or stressful customer service issues in a professional manner.

  • Strong organizational skills which include the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • A strong perspective around how technology can and has positively influenced the logistics & transportation industry
  • Experience collaborating and working with international clients and teams working in shifts
