The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for selling exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities specifically within the fashion and jewellery industry. The role requires strong industry knowledge, networking skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with designers, brands, and retailers.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach fashion and jewellery brands to participate in exhibitions.
Promote exhibition space and sponsorship packages tailored to industry needs.
Maintain strong client relationships with designers, retailers, and jewellery houses.
Negotiate and close deals ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue.
Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns targeting fashion/jewellery exhibitors.
Track industry trends to identify new opportunities and competitive advantages.
Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
Support exhibitors during the event to ensure smooth participation and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management, or related field.
4 years of experience in exhibition sales, preferably in fashion/jewellery industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with industry stakeholders.
Networking ability within fashion designers, jewellery brands, and trade associations.
Passion for fashion and jewellery trends with a business-driven mindset.
