Job Description

As an Assistant Sales Manager (Field Sales) in Hyderabad, Telangana within the Sales / Business Development department, you will report to the National Sales Head. You will be responsible for engaging with architects for project specifications and developing a strong dealer/distributor network to drive sales in the building materials, interior solutions, lighting, furniture, and hardware industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, and consultants. - Promote and present products for inclusion in upcoming projects. - Conduct product demos, presentations, and training for the Architect and Dealer community. - Track project pipelines through architects and follow through to conversion via channel partners. - Identify and onboard new dealers/distributors in assigned territories. - Manage existing dealer relationships to drive sales volume and product penetration. - Support dealers with marketing materials, schemes, training, and inventory planning. - Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets from both architect and dealer channels. - Submit timely reports on visits, leads, conversions, and competitor activity. - Stay updated on market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in building materials or interior solutions. Freshers with energy and commitment will also be considered. - Proven experience in working with both influencers (architects) and dealer/channel partners. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. This role requires expertise in B2B Sales, Channel Sales Management, Architect/Influencer Management, Specification Selling, Territory Management, Relationship Building, Negotiation, and Closing.
