Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in driving sales and achieving targets. This role involves managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring overall sales efficiency and productivity.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company objectives.

  • Assist in setting sales targets and developing plans to achieve them.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.


  1. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers.

  • Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.


  1. Sales Operations:

  • Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

  • Responsible for cold calling.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales orders and documentation.


  1. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.

  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.


  1. Compliance and Ethics:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to legal regulations.



Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Must have NISM Series XV Certification

    .
  • 5+ years of experience in sales.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.

  • Having experience in the cold calling.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.



Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, typically based in an office environment with occasional travel.

  • May require working beyond standard business hours to meet targets and deadlines.

  • 4-5 Years Experience Required.

  • Working days: Tuesday to Sunday. (Monday will be weekly off).
