Job Description

Assistant Sales Manager supports the Director of Sales in executing the hotel's sales strategy. This role is focused on actively generating new business, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue goals within assigned market segments.

Responsibilities

Business Development:
Proactively
identify and solicit new business
accounts across assigned segments through cold calling, networking, site inspections, and client presentations.
Account Management:
Assist the Sales Manager in servicing and nurturing a portfolio of existing key accounts to ensure high client satisfaction and
repeat business
.
Negotiation:
Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalize
sales contracts
to secure profitable bookings, coordinating details with the Reservations and Operations teams.
Market Analysis:
Assist with monitoring
market trends, competitor activities
, and economic shifts to identify new opportunities and support pricing strategies.
Sales Reporting:
Track all sales activities, maintain an organized and up-to-date
client database (CRM)
, and prepare regular sales reports on production and pipeline status.
Sales Trips & Events:
Represent the hotel at trade shows, roadshows, and industry events to promote the property and generate leads.
