POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title Asst Travel Retail Operations Manager (India) Reports to Travel Retail Area Manager Direct Reports - A leading French multi-fragrance organization is looking for an (Assistant) Travel Retail Operations Manager (India) to support the growth of the Travel Retail India business. Reporting to the Travel Retail Area Manager handling India and Sri Lanka, this is a newly created position based in India. The selected candidate will be responsible for retail sales and operational, staffing and training needs of multiple fragrance brands portfolio. Retail Sales

• Work closely with Area Manager to define business strategy, with a focus on sell-out, inventory management and expense budget.

• Accountable for achievement and growth of retail sales target.

• Provide regular feedback to Area Manager and clients on the product assortment, merchandising and inventory gaps to optimize the business performance.

• Prepare monthly retail sales, competitor and market trend analysis reports. Operations

• Store visits to ensure optimal stock level, assortment, counter maintenance at all times. Ensuring brand guidelines such as planogram and POSM display are adhered.

• Ensure timely and well execution of new product launch on-counter. • Liaise with office support team on any merchandising needs.

• Establish good relationships with clients stakeholders so that our portfolio is prioritized.

• Oversee that setup and logistics is well taken care of and executed during new counters installation.

• Work with retailers operations team and our suppliers to settle operational and counter needs. • Identify areas of improvements or opportunities. Staffing

• Recruitment, management and motivation of brand ambassadors and promoters.

• Define sales staff targets and incentive plans.

• Accountable for sales team performance, i.e. customer service standards, individual sales staff target achievement, grooming standards. Training

• Conduct training sessions, briefings, counter coaching for sales team.

• Work with the Training Department to ensure information is timely disseminated and conveyed to sales team. Others

• Provides regular feedback to Area Manager on business situation and growth opportunities.

• Assist in trade events, if any.

REQUIREMENT • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, i.e. Operations, Retail Management, Training. • Self-starter, good discipline hands-on individual with eye for details.

• Responsible, strong organizational and communication skills and works well with all levels.

• Good understanding of retail industry in India is highly advantageous but candidates from other category will be considered.

• English and Indian Business proficiency is mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Traveling within India and Sri Lanka is required.
