Assistant Restaurant Manager

An Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant and ensuring high standards of service and quality. They work closely with the Restaurant Manager to supervise staff, manage inventory and finances, and handle customer service issues. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to balance operational efficiency with guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Supervise Staff: Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling employees. Provide ongoing guidance to ensure efficient and quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in the food service industry is often required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is typical, with a degree in hospitality being a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with restaurant software and POS systems.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Manage Operations: Handle daily opening and closing procedures, manage inventory, and place orders for supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally. Work to create a positive dining experience for all guests.
• Support Financial Tasks: Help with budgeting, payroll, and cash handling. Monitor costs to improve profitability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
