Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Purchasing Manager based in Mumbai. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, source quality materials, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities include analyzing inventory needs, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards, and maintaining accurate purchase records. The role will also collaborate with internal departments to support project requirements and optimize purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in procurement, supplier negotiation, and inventory management
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing software is a plus
• Knowledge of interior design products or the furniture and fittings industry is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
