Job Description

This position is to lead the merchandising of a B2B team.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an enterprising individual who has a technical understanding of garment construction, and pattern making, as well as the ins and outs of the garment manufacturing process for complicated designs. Understanding of US sizes, fabrics, technical composition of patterns.


WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Optimize current processes or set up new processes to improve procurement strategy and ensure the shortest possible cycle of production is met.
  • On-time in fulfilment – the primary KRA for this role. Ensuring to launch all products on the launch date in fulfilment. This will involve capacity planning and production planning with operations manager, suppliers, along with ensuring all levers for timely inspection are in place.
  • Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Merchandise Sourcing Knowledge - Experience in sample development and with offshore production exposure; in large-sized buying offices or Export House
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel & data visualization tools
  • Digitally savvy & adept at implementing new technologies & tools
  • Ensure all production orders and shipments are completed and dispatched on schedule.
  • Maintain close follow-ups with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to avoid delays.


Production Planning & TNA

Prepare and manage the Time & Action calendar (TNA) for each style/order.

Track progress against deadlines, highlight bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

Handle all production-related documentation including purchase orders, production sheets, shipping documents, and compliance papers.

Prepare timely status reports for management and international clients.

Quality & Client Coordination

Monitor quality at all stages to ensure international standards are met.

Coordinate with clients for approvals, updates, and feedback.

Professional Behavior & Teamwork

Maintain good communication and professional conduct with clients, colleagues, and vendors.

Be proactive, solution-oriented, and accountable for production commitments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.

3–6 years’ experience in garment production/export houses (high-fashion/luxury preferred).

Strong knowledge of TNA preparation and production planning.

Experience with international buyers and shipment documentation.

Excellent communication skills in English
