Assistant Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITY:

To Ensure smooth flow of lnhouse & outsourcing activities.

To Ensure machine shop planning at own facility. To ensure toolings of Inhouse machines.

Ensure timely receipt of material from suppliers. Ensure material feeding for production.

• Meeting production schedule and quality standards as laid down by the company. Continously working towards cost reduction plan of production.
• Continous study of cycle time of machined products and helps the costing team for rate negotiaton and finalization.
• Monitor Process Control Activities at In-house & Supplier end
• Maintain identification & Traceability & In-house & supplier end.
• Coordinate with QC in organizing inspections at In-house & at supplier end. Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for smooth transaction of material.
• To maintain Quality records pertaining to his function.
• To co-operate with internal/external auditors during audits.
• Follow and implement documented procedure and work instruction for their function.
• To co-operate, interact with other department in a positive manner to facilitate achievement of company's target.
• Ensure legal compliance wrt to production facilities. & Implement 5S working practices. & Maintain supplier rating. & Develop new vendors related to function.
• Ensure zero rejection & rework. & Ensure sound manufacturing practices.
• Develop Toolings and fixtures for new product development. & Ensure and Improve productivity on machines.
• Continously work on Cycle time reduciton for machined parts. & Ensure QMS / QHSE complainces (API/ISO/PED)
• To bring required changes in implementing maintaining records and imparting the QHSE system. & To coordinate within all functions as far as the QHSE System is concerned.
