This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the food processing industry, who is ready to take on a leadership role and grow with the company over the long term.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Production Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes.Ensure that production processes meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.Supervise production lines, manage shift operations, and monitor staff performance.Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene protocols (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO standards).Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and ensure minimal downtime.Maintain proper documentation of production data, equipment logs, and compliance reports.Coordinate with quality assurance, maintenance, logistics, and procurement teams for smooth operations.Provide training and mentoring to production team members.Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in the food production/processing industry.Strong knowledge of production planning, machinery handling, and industry compliance standards.Proven ability to manage teams, lead by example, and ensure operational discipline.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Locally based candidates or those willing to relocate long-term will be given preference.What We Offer:Competitive compensation based on experience and capabilities.Long-term career prospects in a growing, stable, and professionally managed organization.A collaborative and value-driven work environment with opportunities for skill development.
