OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
This is a governance/PMO Executive role for the IP vertical. This role is to help in governance of the projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Law / Science / Arts. MBA is preferable
- 5+ years of Project Management Office experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas and workflows clearly, thoroughly, and succinctly. (Both internal and External Stakeholders India and Overseas)
- Proactive and consultative approach with strong ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing work requirements
- Strong situational judgment and operational decision-making ability
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success.
- Demonstrates expertise in, driving process discovery / design / blueprint sessions with stakeholders, designing operating models, creating service delivery models, process flow mapping, creating process playbooks and standard operating procedures.
- Experience working directly with functional and technical resources (Graduates / Attorneys / PHD / Engineers)
- Strong mastery of metrics and data reporting, with the ability to generate timely and thorough reports demonstrating a wide range of concepts and points
- Excellent working knowledge of MS office (Excel, SharePoint, Power Bi)
- Previous experience in IP domain is a plus
- Lead and run the Managed Services Project Management Office, including responsibility for governance, cadence, and management.
- Assist the Project Managers in documenting and tracking all aspects of the Various projects.
- Track all time spent on project activities and report to Project Managers periodically
- Participate in internal communications on standard processes and reporting.
- Monitor matter communications (emails, meetings, calls)
- Create reports on progress, for both weekly updates and more formal updates on value delivered to the business to be shared at the leadership level
- Monitor and track key operational metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and continually drive for resolutions for client satisfaction.
- Support Operations-led initiatives through development of detailed plans and charters; tracking dependencies and deliverables; looping in appropriate resources from across the organization; and providing regular updates to leadership.
- Draft templates of standard project management tools such as project charters, project plans, status updates, etc. for wider use in the Legal Department.
- Provide consulting support at the onset of projects to help apply the templates.
- Develop and maintain a reporting program designed to provide a holistic view of team performance, including vendor management, staffing capacity/resource alignment, Revenue vs. Cost etc.
- Manage multiple projects with inter dependencies
- Ability to understand and work within the organizational policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Basic understanding of risk management frameworks
- Basic working knowledge of resource allocation, workload balancing, and skills inventory
