Assistant Manager-Technology Risk Assurance

As a Core TRA professional, your role involves managing assurance engagements with a specific focus on IT risks. You will lead a team of IT assurance professionals who evaluate and test IT General Controls (ITGCs), conduct business and IT process reviews, perform IT Application Controls tests, Information Process Executions (IPEs), third party assurance (SOC1&2), and related areas. Additionally, you are expected to be a subject matter expert in either specific technology platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) or industry sectors (FS, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.). Your responsibilities include supporting leadership in developing the TRA team through coaching, providing technical guidance during assurance engagements, ensuring timely completion of work, and delivering high-quality assurance results consistent with the firm's expectations. It is essential to stay updated with the latest technology advancements and encourage team members to continuously learn and adapt. You will engage with client senior management to communicate IT assurance findings persuasively and interact with the firm's internal stakeholders to explain how these findings impact financial reporting and internal controls. Upholding the firm's quality standards, you must ensure flawless assurance in internal and external quality reviews, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to both the team and clients. Building and nurturing strong client and internal relationships are vital aspects of your role. You will assist leaders in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives, as well as identify and escalate potential business opportunities within existing client engagements. Being a team player with a proactive and results-driven mindset is crucial, along with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and navigate ambiguity effectively. Your qualifications include being a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA, BTech/BE, or BSc IT, with a preference for holding CISA or equivalent certifications. Additionally, you are expected to exhibit competencies in analytical thinking, collaboration, IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), communication, interpersonal relationships, respect, and innovation.
