Role & responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for end-to-end hiring of leadership and senior-level positions across functions. The role demands strong market intelligence, stakeholder management, and the ability to attract top-tier talent in a highly competitive ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Leadership & Niche Hiring

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for mid, senior and leadership roles
  • Partner with business heads to define role specifications, competencies, and success profiles.
  • Develop hiring strategies for niche skills across different functions

2. Talent Sourcing & Market Mapping

  • Build robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, market research, and headhunting.
  • Conduct talent mapping exercises across the banking and financial services sector.
  • Leverage professional networks, social recruiting, and external search partners.

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs.
  • Manage relationships with search firms; drive performance, SLAs, and quality standards.
  • Provide consultative insights based on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.

4. Assessment & Selection

  • Drive screening, competency-based interviews, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Advise hiring managers on best-fit candidates and selection decisions.
  • Support psychometric assessments and leadership evaluation tools, where applicable.

5. Offer Management & Onboarding

  • Manage negotiation, offer roll-out, and closure of leadership mandates.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for senior hires with high-touch engagement.

6. Reporting, Compliance & TA Projects

  • Maintain accurate recruitment metrics: TAT, source effectiveness, pipeline quality, and diversity goals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to TA transformation projects such as process optimization, digitization, and employer branding.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong understanding of the BFSI talent landscape, including emerging roles.
  • Expertise in leadership hiring, headhunting, and talent mapping.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure, high-volume hiring environments.
  • Proficiency in data management, ATS tools, and market intelligence platforms.
