Role Overview: You will be joining our team as an Area Sales Manager, where you will lead the sales team, implement strategic initiatives, and drive business development in your designated territory. Your role will involve formulating and executing effective strategies, managing dealer relationships, and ensuring continuous improvement in team performance. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy and implement sales strategies and related initiatives in alignment with the overall organizational goals. Monitor and track the progress of strategic objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the sales team. - Gain a clear understanding of the territory and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities. Conduct market mapping and analysis to identify areas for development and formulate effective business development plans. - Lead dealer recruitment and onboarding processes to expand the network. Plan and execute promotional events and activities in coordination with the marketing team. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a quarterly advertisement plan, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers, providing necessary support and resources. Monitor and analyze dealer performance metrics, implementing strategies for continuous improvement. - Identify skill and knowledge gaps within the sales team and develop improvement plans. Manage performance evaluations and implement strategies for skills enhancement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven track record of at least 15 years in sales management, with a focus on business development and team leadership. - Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams. - Ability to formulate and execute effective sales strategies. - In-depth understanding of the assigned territory and market intelligence. - Track record of successful business development and market expansion. - Experience in dealer recruitment and onboarding. - Experience in dealer performance analysis and implementation of improvement strategies. - Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to identify and address skill and knowledge gaps. - Experience in managing and developing a high-performance sales team. - Knowledge of the Pump/Motor/any Similar industry and market trends will be an added advantage. - Negotiation and problem-solving skills.,
