Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Manager to join our Purchase team at Marriott International, Inc. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Roles and Responsibility
  • Manage and coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve quality.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and prices.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; relevant certifications or training programs are an asset.
  • Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
