Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Procurement will be responsible for managing sourcing, vendor relationships, cost negotiations, and timely procurement of goods and services to ensure smooth business operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and knowledge of procurement processes aligned with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors for products and services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid shortages.
• Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, projects, etc.) to understand material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier development.
• Maintain vendor performance records and build long-term strategic relationships.
• Support the Procurement Manager in budget planning and reporting.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
