Data Science Intern

JSJ Card partners with small and independent retailers to boost customer loyalty and sales, creating a seamless experience for both retailers and customers. Additionally, our HR portal helps recruiters hire skilled candidates and manage employee benefits in one place. We are looking for a Data Science Intern who is passionate about data and eager to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. As an intern, you will work closely with our data science team on various projects, helping to analyze data and build models. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources. - Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns. - Support the team in building and training machine learning models. - Help create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights. - Collaborate with team members on various data science projects. - Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for solving data-related problems. Requirements: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. - Understanding of machine learning algorithms is an advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Basic understanding of data science concepts and techniques. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R. - Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
