Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Support for carrying out engineering review, testing, FAT, and commissioning. - Knowledge of protection setting calculation, scheme, and configuration of various make relays, BCU, etc. - Support RCA, FMEA, and diagnosis of all CRP-SAS-communication. - Day-to-day coordination of all control & protection-related issues. - Support the site team on a real-time basis for testing, commissioning, and O&M issues. - Review protection scheme, requirements, setting, coordination, and configuration during engineering design and commissioning stage. - Review engineering and O&M aspects of protection, SAS, and interfacing. - Monitor and review periodic testing of control & protection. - Maintain databases and records with analytics for testing and maintaining substation equipment, protection system, SAS, communication for all stations & CCR. - Conduct protection audits of all substations. - Optimize available inventory and procure new inventories as per the need for the allocated area. - Ensure quality assurance, safety, and environment standards through a well-defined review mechanism. - Check all substation protection, SAS, communication schemes. - Understanding of electrical EHV substation, EHV transmission line, power plants, plant-related equipment, and auxiliaries. Understanding philosophy, application, and technology for electrical protection. - Travel frequently to site locations as per the job requirement. - Maintain a database for system, equipment, tripping, occurrences. - Daily monitoring of substation events and occurrences, preparing relevant reports/data to support RCA & troubleshooting. - Data collection for occurrence analysis (RCA), reporting, troubleshooting. - Maintain inventory at an optimum level. - Ensure zero mal-operation and human error. - Implement BPTs like IMS/Statutory AUDIT/LAM-SAP, etc. - Benchmarking of O&M, RCA, FMEA, and testing practices. - Respond to emergency contingencies and disaster management. Qualifications: - BE / B. Tech in Electrical. - Experience: 3 to 6 years.,
