Founded in 2005, Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital operates under the Yugrishi Shriram Sharma Acharya Charitable Trust, a registered non-profit dedicated to addressing economic and gender inequalities in low-income regions, especially in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Our mission is to create a world without blindness and a future where women thrive by restoring sight to those needlessly blind and empowering rural girls through education, skill development, and entrepreneurship. We are the largest eye hospital in Eastern India with over 41 vision centres and 5 surgical eye hospitals, including the world's first 'Centre of Excellence' in eye care in a rural area. Our holistic approach focuses on Sight Restoration, Education and Empowerment of Rural Girls, and Serving Low-Income Geographies.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bihar for an Assistant Manager - Accounts - Donor Reporting. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of donor reporting, financial documentation, account reconciliation, and preparing financial reports. They will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting to our donors. The role also involves budgeting, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in financial documentation, account reconciliation, and preparing financial reports
  • Experience in budgeting and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization is a plus
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
