Designation: Assistant Manager - HRMS

Business Unit: Corporate

Location: HO, Andheri, Mumbai


ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE

The Assistant Manager – HRMS will be responsible for the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of HR systems, including Darwinbox and SAP SuccessFactors (LMS).

This role ensures seamless system performance, user support, process automation and alignment of HRMS functionalities with organizational policies and HR processes. The position demands strong technical understanding, stakeholder management and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


OVERALL, JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure smooth functioning and uptime of HRMS applications such as Darwinbox and SAP SuccessFactors LMS.

2. Manage HRMS project implementations within stipulated timelines and ensure error-free deployments.

3. Provide comprehensive support to HRMS users and resolve system-related queries and incidents.

4. Conduct gap analysis, identify enhancement opportunities and recommend system/process improvements.

5. Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution, new feature testing and version upgrades.

6. Maintain and administer HRMS modules including Onboarding, Core HR, Leave, Attendance, Confirmation, Performance Management, Separation and Reports.

7. Approve and monitor creation, modification, and deactivation of user roles and admin access as per governance standards.

8. Perform incident impact analysis and maintain system logs for integrations (API/SFTP).

9. Oversee integrations with third-party applications, ensuring synchronization and data integrity.

10. Conduct Testing for new functionalities and enhancements, document and track changes.

11. Prepare periodic project status reports and system performance updates for management review.

12. Partner with HR and IT teams to ensure HRMS aligns with HR policy updates and organizational requirements.

13. Conduct system training sessions for HR administrators and end users.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications

 B.E. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or related field

 MCA / BCA (preferred)


Experience

6–8 years of experience in HRMS or HRIT functions, with a strong understanding of HR processes.

 Hands-on experience with Darwinbox and SAP SuccessFactors (LMS module preferred).

 Proven experience in at least one end-to-end HRMS implementation life cycle (preferably Darwinbox).

 Exposure to application testing, technical documentation and API configuration for third-party integrations.

 Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll and IT infrastructure.


Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

 In-depth understanding of HRMS configuration (workflow, forms, roles, permissions, and reporting).

 Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as databases, servers, storage systems and software environments.

 Strong analytical, documentation and troubleshooting skills.

 Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Project and stakeholder management skills with attention to detail.
