Job Description

Assistant Manager HR (Recruitment)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level positions across departments (Non-IT as applicable)
Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines accordingly
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using job portals, social media, referrals, agencies, and campus hiring
Screen and evaluate candidates through interviews, assessments, and background checks
Negotiate offers and manage candidate onboarding in coordination with HR operations
Mentor and guide junior recruiters or team members to achieve recruitment targets
Maintain recruitment metrics like time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and source effectiveness
Collaborate with external recruitment vendors and ensure service-level compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring regulations, and data confidentiality
Provide regular reports and updates to HR leadership and stakeholders
Continuously improve recruitment processes and implement best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

4–7 years of relevant experience in recruitment (agency or corporate), with exposure to managing hiring across multiple functions
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Proficiency in recruitment tools (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), ATS, and HRMS systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical mindset with experience in recruitment reporting and data analysis
Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
