Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring adherence to contract terms while maintaining good relationship.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other related important data.
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
  • Develop plans for purchase and supplies.
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts, ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and budget constraints.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding overstock or stockouts while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and procurement metrics to HOD.
  • Hands on working exposure of ERP to execute day-to-day tasks of procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
  • Work in in tandem with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed.
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Professional Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Experience with UK, China or European countries are preferred
  • Vendor/Supplier Management (Chinese & UK supplier management is an added advantage).
  • Inventory Management, able to analyze & implement systems to avoid over stocking and under stocking.
  • Should be able to make monthly reports as per requirements.
  • Should be able to make monthly/quarterly/yearly purchase projection.
  • Co-ordination with Suppliers/Manufacturers, Internal Team & warehouse.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and relevant software applications, should have good hand on experience in Excel.
